Well Ottawa is cold and snowy, skateboarding is over – until California. What to do with the dark evenings and cold weekends? Rock out of course. Enter the Village Bicycles (fondly refferred to as TVB) The line up is Guitar, Bass Drums and Keys – the sound is ecclectic at best – reggae, art rock, stoner rock with a sabbathy edge – hm let’s go with undefined right now. Everyone skates except nikki but she plays an mean keyoard. Recording this weekend in the most ghetto tradition of EP demos – 4 mics on the drums into a 4 channel mixer, mics on the guitar, bass and keys – then all into the other mixer and then into Logic. Gah. It’ll be fun – live off the floor is my favorite.
